I've never actually been to Jimmie's Ice Cream Cafe in Roslindale Square. But I drive and walk past it a lot and always intend to stop by soon. Donna Cabral, Roslindale resident and owner, shares her vision for Jimmie's: “I wanted a beach-themed, retro style cafe that would serve everyone in the community. I especially wanted children to experience an old fashion ice cream store. I had hopes that the kids would feel like it’s their place, and I think we have succeeded." Sounds perfect for a summer stop.
